Freedom Fest takes place on June 30 with tailgating open at 2 p.m., followed by live music at 5 p.m. But there’s a full schedule of fireworks and festivals in the Pikes Peak region from June 30 – July 4. The event coordinates fireworks shows all over the city, making it easy to get your red, white and boom close to home if you choose. The city’s nearly 50-year tradition of fireworks with a symphony concert continues to evolve in the Star-Spangled Symphony and Fourth of July Fireworks.
